Antique deep lace trim, roses
Approx. 47 inches, or 120cm, of this fabulous rose trim. I have looked at it long and hard and think it is hand made, but I am not 100% certain. However it was made, it is a beautiful deep trim, 4 inches ( 10cm), and so tactile because of the raised design. I'd place it somewhere around the time of the Arts and Craft movement, possibly beginning of the Art Deco period. Condition is just lovely, I can only find the one tiny area of wear as shown in the second photo.
1.20m of 4" deep rose trim £ 10.00 Sold, thank you!
Worldwide postage £ 2.00
Europe postage £ 1.50
UK postage £ 1.00
French Linens now being listed
Well, at least some of them. Why oh why don't I ever get as much as done as I have planned? I thought I would have a lovely quiet afternoon, putting together some lace bundles, and what happens? My DS1 brought loads of washing over, lol. His washing machine had broken down. Perhaps I'll get the lace bundles done tonight. There are some very exquisite narrow laces amongst the ones I am going to list, I am pretty sure they are handmade. They would be so lovely for anybody who makes antique dolls clothes or small vintage treasures. Ah well, thats for later. I'll start with my favourite towels, I think. The easiest way to find things is probably by clicking on the labels on the right hand side.

Back from France
Two months in our beautiful cottage in France and a few vide greniers later, and here I am again, with some beautiful French treasures. I'll start listing tomorrow and hopefully will have time to list during next week as well. For a little taster of what you might expect to see in Vintageland, see my France Posts on my Lululiz in Lalaland Blog .
Have a wonderful weekend!
