Set of 3 Miniature French Books

Aren't these the most adorable little books? They look so beautiful displayed with other little treasures. All three were found on different occasions over a very long period of time, but they make such a lovely set, that I decided to put them together. The covers are suede leather, and they measure approx. 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches.

The titles are -

Bienfaits d'Aimer
Anthologie Victor Hugo
Pascal - Choix de Pensees

Rare books indeed, and such a sweet little collection.

Tiny Antique French Keys, set of 5 - SOLD

A set of 5 antique and vintage French keys, tiny little beauties between 1 inch and 2 inches long. I love using them in fabric collages, mixed media collages and tags.

Vintage French Ventouses Medicales - Glass Cloches

These tiny little cloches are actually vintage French suction cups, used in traditional medicine. I think they make wonderful little cloches though, or use them to for little displays. They are made from thick glass and are quite heavy.

LISTED ON ETSY, PLEASE CLICK ON THE LINK IN THE SIDEBAR.

Silver Salt Spoon

This is such a tiny sweet little thing. Silver plated, of course, and perfect for use with either an English silver salt cellar, or one of those fabulous French glass/crystal salt cellars.

Not easy to find, I suppose because they are so tiny, they were easily lost.

Sweet little silver salt cellar, blue glass liner

English silver plated salt cellar with glass liner in a truly beautiful deep blue. No chips on the glass.

1930s Cocktail Stirrers

A set of 5 1930s cocktail stirrers. They are solid clear glass with these gorgeous soft green tops. Difficult to show in photographs. I love the elegant, clean look of these.

Antique Victorian Pickle Fork

Until I found one of these pickle forks a year ago, I had no idea how useful they are. Those funny tines on the fork work so well when you are fishing about in jar for olives, or pickled gherkins, beetroot or whatever else takes your fancy.

It is silver plated and has a beautiful mother-of-pearl handle. I think the collar between handle and fork is silver, but it is not marked, probably because the weight of the collar is less than the weight which requires marking. This is what I have been told in the past, but I am no expert, so I can't be 100% certain. The fork is approx. 15cm long.
