Vintage French laundry bag, such pretty floral fabric

Don't you think this fabric is adorable? Nothing sharp about it, the pattern is soft and gentle. I can see this laundry bag hanging from a bed post, or a pretty hook, even a door handle. This is a lovely vintage fabric, so soft from being laundered many times I should think. The laundry sack measures approx. 21 1/2 inches wide by 26 inches long. It has a little name tag sewn inside with the name Robert Andre ( Family name comes first in France ), so it looks as if this actually belonged to a boy. There are a couple of tiny areas of wear on the back ( I call it the back because thats where the seam is ). You could very easily cover that with the lucky owner's initials, a couple of buttons, a fabric flower, all sorts. Or simply ignore it. Or, shock horror, you could cut it up and use this delicious fabric in a project, lol. £8.00 SOLD, thank you

  4. You're laundry bag is soooo pretty. My mom and mother-in-law used these every wash day back in the 50's and 60's. I believe I still have one of them. Thank you for visiting my blog. It's so nice when someone from the other side of the world visits.
