I know I said I would list some vintage French trims a few days ago, but it is sooooo hot, I don't have any energy left at all, once the garden has been watered, the vegetables picked etc. We did get a bit of a breeze this evening though, and the temps in the house are only in the high 20Cs right now ( 10pm ), so I listed a few of the trims -
Totally adorable vintage French Bébé baby trims, they are so cute

sea green background -

Fabulous wide lacy gimp trim, my one and only 2 yard length -
and this really stunning dark silver grey vintage French woven trim -
I might have another go at listing some more trims tomorrow, if the weather is a little kinder. Toodlepip xxx

A few new listings
I listed a few more things before we came to France -
Vintage French enamelware lunch pail -
OOAK handmade vintage French octagonal wooden box with lid -
19th Century Paris porcelain benitier / Holy Water font -
French Art Deco free standing cross / crucifix - SOLD
Heavy quality silver plated half hinged lidded box with beautiful engravings - SOLD
Pretty vintage French pink and blue trim / braid, 10metres on original card-
Set of 3 vintage French kitchen storage tins, with bird motifs on one side and flowers on the other side -
Set of 12 24% lead crystal knife rests / cutlery rests - SOLD
Fabulous 1920s French glass and chrome double inkwell with secret monogram inside the lids- SOLD
Because I knew I couldn't post anything from France more than 3cm thick without paying huge postage costs for small packages, I rummaged through my stash of ribbons, buttons and other small things and brought them with me to France. I just didn't want to spend the summer not listing anything. I started with a few things -
Darling little 1950s child's knitted socks with original label -
Set of three beautifully embroidered vintage French hankies -
These gloves sold almost straight away -
Tomorrow I will start listing some gorgeous old French ribbons from my own collection :-).
Here are just a couple of other things which were sold before I had a chance to show them -
See ya tomorrow! Toodlepip xxx
